English - Speaking Club

There were four meetings of the English-Speaking Club in May. The following topics were discussed:

7.05 – Synonyms

14.05 – How to pronouns the words

21.05 – Set expressions

28.05 – “I would rather”

This meeting was devoted to the discussion of the English phrase “I would rather”. Earlier that day took place an all Ukrainian English lesson. Its purpose was to break the record for the Guinness Book. During the lesson people learnt how to use this phrase. Some of the members of the Club took part in Guinness record lesson and shared their emotions and knowledge. As usual there was a lot of laughter, funny stories and at least one more brand new English phrase “I would rather”.
