There were five meetings of
the English-Speaking Club in April. The following topics were discussed:
2.04 - Phrases
9.04 – Set Expressions
16.04 – Movies
23.04 – Traveling by car
30.04 – Easter
During this
meeting the members of the Club discussed the topic “Easter”. They talked about
differences and similarities in different Christian religious traditions. However
mostly was discussed the Orthodox Easter and the way it was celebrated in
Ukraine. People greeted each other with the Easter and as usual learnt new
English words and phrases.
